Reminiscing, the one year on active duty was a piece of cake. As the army expression went, "could do it standing on my hands." The same could be said about the six years serving in the active reserve. I thought about it as two weeks JD Truck Training Centre at a beach resort without maid service. What was stark in my mind, that while in the reserves during the Korean War I did not get called back to active duty. I did not suffer the irreversible consequences of going to war.

Another topic that will help you find a great trucking job is the type of equipment you drive. Your truck is your tool and also your home. Some carriers replace equipment more often then others. When considering a job ask how often the fleet trucks are replaced. Newer trucks can be more fuel efficient, and have less wear and tear damage on them. There is nothing worse for a truck driver than being stuck in a small town waiting for a simple repair to be made.

When the issue of money is resolved, it's time to decide if the desired school's location will be a good fit for your current situation (i.e. single or married with a family). Are you going to commute daily? If so, how far? Gas can get very costly! Or, are you going to move to attend your choice of Truck driving school? If so, where are you going to reside and at what cost? Some truck driving schools do offer dorms similar to a college campus; but it will obviously raise the cost of attending the institution.

These bonuses are common at the larger trucking companies. Sure they HOPE you're gonna be an outstanding truck driver, but more than anything they just desperately need your butt in one of their trucks. Period.

Before you take multiple dogs in your vehicle along with you, put together a master plan about the best way to get us both out of the vehicle. At any time you do not have a plan we definitely will each bounce out just as soon as the car door is open. This can be cause bedlam. We all know that I should certainly get to go out first, but the evil brand new puppy dog does not seem to have an understanding of that. The actual main problem is that getting to cruise in the car is usually more thrilling than just about anything else, however getting out of your car is somehow 10 times greater. We all just get way too enthusiastic to be able to pay attention and do what HR Truck Licence you tell us to. Owning a pair of dogs this enthusiastic positively makes this a bigger problem.
